Job Description

We are now hiring Program Section Head/ Manager to be placed across Plexus 4 Sites.


Customer Order Management

  • Develop order entry, maintenance, customer information, part information, synchronize customer PO, Promise Ship date and Request Ship Date, maintain customer forecasts, RMA’s with customer, schedule and follow up on any change of customer shipment dates

  • Obtain customer revenue forecast, drive customer loading and shipment to meet planned revenue

  • Customer-Relationship Management

  • Raise RFQ and Pricing Alignment with customers

  • Prepare business review, trend analysis, minutes and other reports related to Program Management

  • Monitor customer design package approvals

  • Maintains close working relationships with the Plexus customer managers, directors and account executives in order to provide customer service excellence

  • Manage and supervise PM managers from hiring, training to continuous coaching and customer assignments

  • Work with site leadership in regards to customer initiatives such as determining priority for capacity conflicts and coordinating site revenue/P&L; improvements

  • Managing Plexus Performance to Meet Customers' Expectations

  • With Purchasing Product Manager, monitor and minimize excess and obsolete inventory. This includes the write-off of inventory at Plexus expense

  • Monitor on-time shipping performance data for customers. Responsible to align with customers on actual performance data after month end closing

  • Participate in production pack plan lead by planning

  • Responsible for initiating new projects into the Plexus system and managing the process to ensure successful transition on a project from prototype to production stage

  • Provide Guidance and Solutions to Program Officers/Administrators

  • Provide training/mentoring to new hires in achieving customer goals and internal job responsibilities

  • Preparation and alignment with internal CFT and customers on run readiness review

  • Understand and Drive the Customer P&L;

  • Provide competitive and fair pricing to customers

  • Drive for sales, margins, mark-up, contributions goals, inventory goals and any specific cost drivers

  • Understand and report any excessive OIX to the team and management. Develop, implement, and manage the disposition plan

  • Responsible for owning and enforcing the material liability clauses that were negotiated and ensuring there is Purchase Order coverage for the materials and the production commitments

  • Acquire, Develop, Retain of Best People

  • To identify and hire right talent, develop high performance and motivated/engaged team with right competencies and capabilities

  • Establish a strong client relationship and perception.

  • Manage and coordinate all activities with purchasing, master scheduler, production planning, production management, materials, engineering, quality, accounting and all levels of management to meet the customer’s requirement.

  • Responsible for management of customer information, sales/orders administration and client relations (via oral and written communications).

  • Responsible for management of projects from development/initialization stage until final production stage.

  • Expectations include better business performance and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in company program to achieve company’s strategic goals.


  • Degree in Engineering with minimum 6 years’ relevant experience.

  • Good understanding of contract management and business management practices.

  • Candidates from technical program management background will have added advantage.

  • Ability to effectively present technical and financial information and respond to questions from management, technical, administrative staff and clients.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organization and decision making skills.
