Participate in Supply Chain projects and follow time milestone based on resource availability and align with department strategy.
Participate in Supply Chain project risks assessment, create contingency plans, analyze business impacts, and define corrective actions wherever required.
Coordinate process improvement projects that advance customer service levels, improve product flows, minimize supply chain costs, and improve asset management.
Coordinate supplier selection, drives collection of approved supplier requirements, and ensures part qualification across projects to achieve cost saving and Supply Chain efficiency.
Involve in Supplier Development Engineering to evaluate and qualify multiple sources to mitigate supply chain risk. Align with global practice and methodologies in supplier assessment.
Actively involved in localization to achieve cost savings for components, materials and tools.
Provides computer-input support and certain clerical functions as required.
Conducts special analyses and projects as required.
Remain current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, as well as industry trends. Remain abreast of technical advancements.
Perform related functions and responsibilities, on ad-hoc basis as assigned.
Working under minimum supervision, is accountable for recommending/selecting sources of supply for localization and cost saving initiative. Usually performs work that involves some degree of independence. Full responsibility for assignment may be given in particular area. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contribution affects team/department results. Perform assignments of moderate complexity, developing solutions to a variety of problems. Apply existing work methods and principles to different known situations. Engage in frequent use of independent judgment.
