Job Description

  • Procures goods and services such as equipment, tools, supplies and advertising for the organization.

  • Analyze requirements for supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of internal customer.

  • Contact suppliers, obtains and analyze quotes / bid proposal and negotiates pricing and delivery for purchases and/or contract.

  • Exercise good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply and make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity required.

  • Issue Purchase Order for materials, equipment and other internal customer requirements.

  • Purchasing / vendor master data maintenance and timely resolutions for discrepancies of supplier invoices/ quality issues.

  • Periodic report generation and cost analysis for driving cost reduction activities.

  • Establish and maintain vendor evaluation and development plan.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP is an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with minimum supervision.

  • High integrity and professional ethics, able to work under pressure.

  • Excellent in problem solving, analytical, negotiation, communication and reporting skills.

  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice will be an added advantage.
