Build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the end customer's engineering, development, and operations teams, while gaining an understanding of their business needs and aligning them with our solutions. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect covering Southeast Asia (ASEAN), Hong Kong, and Taiwan region out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you will provide pre-sales support for Ansible solutions in the mid-market customer space as well as working with partners on enablement and go to market strategies. You will also design and deliver evaluations, proofs of concepts, and pilots of our offerings, and play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll serve as the customer's advocate to build the best solutions in the space of Network Automation, Immutable Infrastructure, and DevOps to ensure they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. We'll need you to have an excellent working knowledge of Ansible playbooks and module development, cloud architectures and their supporting infrastructures, practices and associated tools and technologies.
Primary job responsibilities
Perform a discovery of needs, find out the most effective methods of support, close the sales of proposed projects, and document proofs of concepts
Work closely with the Channel Sales team to deliver partner workshops in line with the channel go to market strategy
Deliver customer workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape the customer's use cases, and architect design decisions
Support partners in delivery of high-quality infrastructure and network automation proofs of concepts and pilots to increase customers' confidence in our offerings
Demonstrate innovative thinking in practices by producing white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry-leading conferences
1-3 years of experience with Ansible consulting and implementation
Experience with the design and operation of medium to large scale configuration management, automation of enterprise and cloud infrastructures, databases, networks, and application systems with high-availability requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to IT managers and C-level executives at large firms
Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
Prior pre-sales experience in cloud infrastructure automation and management is a plus
Willingness to travel up to 50%
