We are seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for identifying, developing, leading and growing key accounts through strategic and commercial planning and modeling process.
Forecast financial targets for Academic Qualifications
Plan and agree the Academic market development strategy
Be accountable for the achievement of budgets and revenue in line with annual and strategic plans
Manage key accounts to maximize revenue opportunities from each account, taking consideration of customer needs, our product portfolio and effectively matching customer delivery capability with product type.
Develop relationships with key accounts to identify commercial opportunity, networking and fact-finding to drive achievement of plans and objectives
Formulate strategic and operational plans based on a solid understanding of the market trends and customer demands, with commercial and customer data
Develop relationships to influence key stakeholders including government and non-government organisations as well as educators to position Pearson as the preferred education solutions provide.
Develop timely and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year which relates to budget and finances of Pearson
Accountable to operational performance and formulation of business policies, plans and strategies, regarding to other employees who are involved in the assigned territory
Build a robust pipeline of new customer opportunities and sales leads in order to achieve annual growth targets.
Manage the sales cycle to maximize new lead conversion ratios.
Create specific new customer propositions to meet customer requirements.
Strong account management and relationship building skills, reflected in proven sales track record
Possess strong knowledge of the education sector in nominated countries including trends and business opportunity sources
Able to interact and present effectively with all levels of people, specifically at the senior executive level within key stakeholder group
Comfort level in working with numbers and performing statistical analysis
Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills plus an ability to operate in a matrix-reporting environment.
Strong customer and learner focus with good leadership traits
Ability to react in a fast pace and changing environment
Sound knowledge of the education sector and trends that create business opportunity
Understanding of the changing education needs would be an asset
Worked in education/publishing industry before
Candidates with marketing experience with colleges, institutes or professional bodies will be an added advantage.
Education, Qualifications & Training
Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Business Development, Finance or Marketing preferred
IT literate eg: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge and competency in educational software
Familiarity with photo-editing/videography skills, 3D designing will be a plus
