As a Consultant within the Logistics team for Supply Chain & Operations, you'll contribute to one of the fastest-growing regions in the world.

Businesses need to continuously achieve and sustain performance improvement in a rapidly changing environment. As one of our performance improvement consultants, you'll help many of the world's leading businesses and governments tackle their most pressing issues in particular about transportation, warehousing and materials management. Better cost management means that the savings achieved directly impact the bottom line.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working together with local/regional teams tosupervise, implement and deliver solutions like:

  • Logistics Strategy & Network Design

  • Logistics & Fulfillment Operating Model

  • Logistics Operations Management & Transformation

  • Inventory & Materials Management

  • Reverse Logistics Management

  • Logistics Technology (WMS, TMS etc )

  • Working in a fast growing and challengingenvironment with like-minded people across the region

  • Delivering large-scale, complex supply chain managementand transformation projects with a focus on Logistics and cost savings programs

  • Working with client organisations to enhanceLogistics process and performance through the implementation of LogisticsTechnology

  • Assistance to the Project Manager indelivering proposals and projects

  • Building relationships with external clientsand internal peers

  • Working in a collaborative team analysingclient issues and developing solutions

  • Prioritizing objectives and contributing toproject planning and status reporting

  • Anticipating and identifying risks andraising issues with senior members of the team

  • Working in multi-disciplinary teams in thedelivery of high quality services, consistently and with proven globalmethodologies and tools

  • Support the development, growth andmaintenance of large global accounts and strategic clients across Asia-Pacific

To qualify for therole, you must have

  • A bachelor’s or master’sdegree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent

  • Added advantage of having experience of usingLogistics related technology (TMS, WMS etc.)

  • Strong analytics, computer skills andknowledge of Excel is required

  • 5 - 8 years of professional experience in the Logisticsfunction such as:

  • TransportationManagement

  • WarehousingManagement

  • Inventory& Materials Management

  • Port/ Logistics Hub Management

  • Experience in leading and supervisingprojects/project team members

  • Strong commitment to professional clientservice excellence

  • Ability to develop, present new ideas andconceptualise new approaches and solutions

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • PMP or equivalent certification

  • Excellent interpersonal relations anddemonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
