Lenovo General Procurement Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Position is responsible for all Indirect Procurement activities related to source selection, contract/supplier management, cost analysis/negotiation mainly for Malaysia and Singapore, as well as some AP regional and/or country specific requirements. The GCM requires specific strengths in project management, business case/financial analysis. Position interfaces with senior and key internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Position is responsible for leading/interfacing with cross functional teams in sourcing decisions and in managing ongoing supplier operational performance, to achieve success of business.  Facilitate interactive communication between Lenovo organizations & supply partners  Help cross functional teams to solve supplier issues related to deliver, supply, quality and service  Lead and manage multiple RFx and supplier selections  Lead supplier performance management, including QBR/SPE  Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive cost reduction  Develop supplier strategy, conduct supply base analysis and industry competitive analysis  Negotiate contracts with suppliers
