Position Title Assistant Resident Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) (Contract)
Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur
Assist the Resident Engineer on M&E related matters on site i.e. ensure that construction works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, method statements, project programmes etc within timeline without compromising the safety and quality of work;
Manage and direct a team of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and Inspectors for the supervision of the construction;
Monitors progress of construction against the programme, and takes steps to ensure the programme is achieved;
Ensure HSE practise at site is being adhered to;
Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors;
Resourceful and able to liaise with consultants/ different parties well in resolving construction/ design/ technical issues.
Minimum 4 - 8 years relevant experience in institutional/ commercial projects;
Conversant in statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;
Strong supervision and leadership skills;
Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
- A recognized Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
