We are looking for a Pricing Advisor to join the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Special Pricing team, based in Penang. The Pricing Advisor will be responsible for managing, co-coordinating and recommending pricing strategies for our commercial business in Australia & New Zealand.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage account profitability by providing recommended pricing guidelines and floor prices, reflecting market trends

  • Manage pricing proposals for Bids/ Tenders, via GOAL & GOAL Lite, including producing Profit & Loss statements and Business Cases, offering recommendations to both ANZ and regional Senior Management for their approval

  • Review and respond to all contractual pricing terms & conditions for Tender responses, including identifying and mitigating all business risks i.e. price validity clauses, exchange rate impact

  • Ensure appropriate business approvals are obtained as per ANZ/APJ Commercial Pricing Processes

  • Liaise with Brand teams on a regular basis to keep up to date on new product releases, component cost movements, promotions, competitive info and product strategies

  • Build partnerships with Sales, Sales Manager’s and Regional Sales Director’s

  • Ad hoc reporting – win loss, account profitability

The ideal candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pricing or commercial/business analyst role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification

  • Excellent commercial/business acumen

  • Ability to talk and negotiate with Marketing Brand teams, Sales, Senior Management & Dell Customers’

  • Proven modeling skills and experience in competitive pricing plans

  • Highly developed analytical skills with a proven ability to deliver quality and accurate information within tight timeframes

  • Analytical, detailed and persistent

  • Excellent rapport building

  • Excellent verbal/written English communication skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic & challenging environment

  • Advanced understanding & experience with Microsoft Excel
