ROLE SUMMARY

Technical Analyst is responsible for delivering the proposed solution with Experian range of products to satisfy client needs. This role develops the solution in accordance to Clients’ technical specifications. The technical analyst will be working closely with an Australian Consultancy Team. There will be also other analysts & developers in Experian Global Delivery Center Malaysia who will work alongsideto support from both technical and cultural perspectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing high quality technical delivery services to both clients and internal Experian business teams

  • Designs, modifies, develops, write code, configure, tests and implements software customized modules particularly around solution integration with client platforms

  • Troubleshooting software issues relating to all Experian Data Quality applications

  • Identifies and resolves application issues

  • Identification of risk and recommendation of mitigating action

  • Provide technical analysis to customers and business teams based on requirements

  • Distribution/implementation of software releases

  • Provides appropriate research support to business groups within the organization

  • Advises on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities where appropriate

  • Continuous process improvement

  • Works closely with Delivery Lead in Australia to identify requirements in logical sequence through Q&A, document analysis and task analysis

  • Configure the product functionalities by translating Specifications into logics and scripts.

  • Confirms functionality by conducting tests; modifying configurations and updating Specifications

  • Maintain unit test checklist

  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Identifies critical issues and provide resolution to mitigate impact on project delivery

  • Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT

  • Demonstrate knowledge of

  • Programing skills (JAVA, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Programming in general, UML)

  • .Net & C# are added advantage

  • Web service technologies such as SOAP, WSDL

  • XML technologies (XSL, XSD, XPATH….)

  • Security technologies (LDAP, encryption, certificates, security attacks…)

  • Web platforms (IIS, Tomcat, WebSphere…)

  • Performance Testing and optimization techniques and approac

  • Understanding of operating systems

  • Windows Environments (2000, 2003, XP)

  • Unix (Solaris, AIX) / Linux

  • Experience working with tools eg:Jenkins,JIRA,Confluence,SVN,Sharepoint,Jmeter,Selenium, Eclipse,GitHub, VSTS, Azure

  • Database Oracle, MS SQL or DB2 is an advantage

  • TCP/IP network environments including troubleshooting network related issues is an advantage

  • Experience in middleware technologies such as IBM MQ or EAI types is an advantage

  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing (integration, user, and performance), debugging and implementation

  • Understanding of SDLC (Software Delivery LifeCycle) process

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi task and prioritize work

  • Persistence and attention to detail in problem solving

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience of waterfall and/or agile delivery methodologies

  • 3 – 6 years delivery or solution development experience

  • Ability to acquire rapidly and maintain good product knowledge

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills

  • Preferably to have exposure to development within ERP and/or CRM Systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Oracle)

  • Experience working within the Data Quality & Data Management domain is an advantage
