ROLE SUMMARY As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for examining, validating and testing customised solutions based on and around EDQ products in accordance to the requirements, specifications, established or defined quality and performance standards, within delivery timelines.

The QA Analyst will be working closely with an Australian Consultancy Team. There will be also other analysts & developers in Experian Global Delivery Center Malaysia who willwork alongside to support from both technical and cultural perspectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform various types of testing including:

  • White Box testing

  • Black Box testing

  • Integration testing

  • Performance testing

  • UI testing

  • Unit testing

  • Security testing

  • Test planning, design, implementation, execution and evaluation.

  • User documentation testing.

  • Prepare and execute manual and automation scripts.

  • Proactively identify test issues and potential process improvement areas, suggest options and recommend approaches.

  • Take part in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.

  • Track and manage defects to resolution.

  • Generate status reports and update project plans.

  • Support management on special projects and proposals.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent standard in Computer Science.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.

  • Experience in creation of Test Cases and Test Plans.

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows platforms.

  • Excellent experience working with relational databases.

  • Experience (or strong interest in working) with large and disparate data set.

  • Experience working with multi-tier applications.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture.

  • Ability to interact with development team to identify and resolve bugs.

  • Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.

  • Ability to review project technical documents and provide input as required.

  • Ability to be flexible in project work and multi-task responsibilities.

  • Ability to work in a close-knit team.

  • Ability to relate to staff at all levels.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

  • Autonomous and attentive to detail.

  • Experience in an international environment.

  • Fluent in English.

Advantage

  • Knowledge in Selenium, C#, Java.

  • Experience with automation frameworks.

  • Experience with performance testing tools jMeter and/or Visual Studio Enterprise.
