Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for placing purchase orders for a variety of goods, services and materials.

  • Reviews necessary invoices with accounts payable and assists in analyzing vendor responses to performance.

  • Manages purchasing role in supporting technology plans and managing data requirements as well as other various tools.

  • Global Commodity buyers for Power (PDP/PDUs/Batt), Drives, PCB/SLICs, Chassis/Enclosures.

  • Develop , align and implement KPIs for COS activities.

  • Assist with driving closure on corrective actions that improve key COS metrics and overall performance.

  • Successfully drive COS improvements and work with global partners to identify and implement best of breed practices.

  • Identify, evaluate and report on supplier performance to executive team on monthly basis.

Essential Requirements:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience.

  • Solid ability to track supply and availability of components, materials and or services.
