EY is looking for Senior Manager for IT

Advisory to lead the team in the execution of clients’ assignments in the areas

of:

  • Informationmanagement and business intelligence

  • ITstrategy, architecture and solution design (including package solutions)

  • IToperational effectiveness and business case development

  • Programand project management

  • ITArchitecture

Your key responsibilities:

  • 8 years of experiencein business and technology consulting to Insurance (General /Life) clientsfocused on operating model transformation, business process improvement,business capability uplift, etc. with deep knowledge of insurance propositions,product development, customer and portfolio management, claims management, in-and disbursement, as well as sales management

  • 6 years of demonstratedability to identify, shape, sell and lead technology consulting work in theInsurance industry, working collaboratively with client senior leaders andteams

  • Experience in managementfunctions for large/scale or complex implementation projects (IT, business andchange management) in the insurance industry as well as deep knowledge in theimplementation of standard software in the core areas of sales / operations andclaims management

  • Program and projectmanagement

  • Work with SeniorLeadership in both the client organisation and EY, facilitating decision makingto achieve the project goals and milestones which includes improving thealignment of IT with business strategy to deliver greater value

  • Demonstrate in-depthtechnical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability toassimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on newdevelopments in advisory services capabilities

  • Understand EY and itsservice lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop andmaintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationshipswith team members across all EY practices to serve client needs

To qualify for therole, you must have

  • Experience in Insurance operatingmodel development (distribution, sales, service, product management, claims,customer experience, analytics )

  • Strong passion for serving Insuranceclients in their effort to successfully transform their business

  • Deep interest in and knowledge ofemerging trends impacting/likely to impact insurers, distributors and customers

  • Demonstrated leadership to successfullydeliver management consulting and transformation efforts, leadingmulti-disciplinary teams including client team members

  • Business capability benchmarking andblueprint development

  • Business capability realizationsolution and roadmap development

  • Ability to translate complex clientrequirements and goals, and to reflect this in a solution architecture, that isunderstandable by clients irrespective of their level of seniority

  • Technology consulting programexecution

  • Developing and sustaining strongrelationships with clients business leaders Proven ability to build, manage andfoster a highly motivated, team-oriented environment and actively guide andmentor people

  • Proven ability to work creativelyand analytically in a problem-solving environment Proven record of effectivelycollaborating across areas of business and disciplines to formulate creativeyet pragmatic business solutions

  • Experience with softwareimplementation methodology: SDLC: waterfall, agile, v-model etc. in core areasof operations and claims

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Masters in Engineeringor Business Administration

  • Functional knowledge ofIT Target Operating Model and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool such asSAP or Oracle

  • Have working exposuretowards the latest emerging technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Mobility,Analytical, and Digital

  • Project Managementcertification – PMP, Agile Scrum, ITIL
