Job Responsibilities:

Compute and process payroll in accordance with the prevailing statutory regulations and compensation details provided by the client. Help to strategies and develop EY’s payroll operate business in Malaysia with the aim to increase market share and awareness.

Job Descriptions:

  • Actively develop and grow the business

  • Ensure timely, accurate and high quality payroll compliance deliverables

  • Ensure all payroll computations and submissions to authorities comply with statutory requirements

  • Manage and meet all agreed key performance indicators set by clients

  • Plan and implement payroll onboarding activities, payroll processes and other payroll initiatives

  • Provide payroll related advice to client

  • Establish and maintain effective relationship and partnership with clients and team members

  • Supervise and coach team members


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other relevant disciplines

  • 1-2 years of payroll experience

  • Strong knowledge of human resources functions, payroll related laws and best practices in Malaysia

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to priorities and meet deadlines

  • Meticulous, resourceful and reliable

  • Numerically inclined with good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
