MajorResponsibilities/Duties

Execution of strategic priorities:

  • Plan and identify strategic talent priorities andareas of focus annually, mid-term and longer-term.

  • Work with the Asean Advisory Talent Leader inexecuting strategic talent initiatives across the region, engaging instakeholders at all levels.

  • Review and track progress of the markets against thematurity framework and feedback any examples of best practice to ensure thatthe maturity frameworks can be updated and remain relevant.

  • Collaborate with Area / Regional cross-service line teamson synergistic opportunities where possible.

  • Collaborate with Asia-Pac Regional contacts ondelivering strategic projects in Asean to ensure that the impact on the localmarkets are managed and to establish a single point of contact from anexecution perspective.

  • Talent priorities may include, but are not limited to- 5 year talent development program, ratings workshops, counselling families, retentionproject, onboarding project and others.

Support for key meetings:

  • Support the Asean Advisory TalentLeader to prepare for key Area and Region meetings

  • Manage all RegionalLeadership and Talent Leadership team meeting content.

  • Attend where needed keymeetings as requested by the Asean Advisory Talent Leader.

Managing a portfolio of programs andprojects assigned:

  • Own and are accountable forGlobal / Area / Regional projects. Namely – GNG, GNH, and others that may arisefrom time to time.

  • Share knowledge and bestpractices, keeping the markets informed

  • Manage HR processes e.g.PMDP

  • Act as key point of contactfor operational process and protocols for the Regional Talent team

  • Support the Asean AdvisoryTalent leader in the budgeting process where needed

Development and engagementactivities:

  • Identify developmentopportunities and needs for client service teams and identify ways to buildcapability in the team

  • Manage review and leverage ofGPS results for Asean Advisory

Qualifications:

Qualifications,Knowledge & Experience

Qualifications

Graduate qualifications in HR or similar

Knowledge

  • Project management principles

  • Change Management principles

  • Talent Development knowledge

  • Intermediate to advanced excel andpowerpoint knowledge

  • Strong English language and communicationskills

Experience

Ideally

3 years’ experience including:

  • Demonstrated ability to build effectiveworking relationships with leaders

  • Working effectively in a virtualenvironment, across timezones and across cultures

  • Project Managementexperience

  • Talent developmentexperience is desirable but not essential

  • Adjusting to multiple conflicting demands,shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change

  • Managing and directing own workload,working with minimal supervision
