Honeywell Sr Demand & Asset Planner in Malaysia
This is a key role for HSF APAC Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) organization. The role is based at Kuala Lumpur, with key responsibility to lead the SIOP process establishment, maturity and excellence for the sub-region and the integrated SIOP for the HSF APAC GBE. The role has direct responsibility of demand planning for the Malaysia DC and includes continuous improvement of the phases in the cycle as well as responsibility for development of SIOP competency, collaboration and focus on value adds for the business. Actively engages in the achievement of the HOS Gold for the GBE. The SIOP leader is responsible for improving the effectiveness and velocity of the Order to Cash process, developing the maturity of the SIOP process for the GBE with the objective of supporting the short and long term business plan and improve the overall customer satisfaction, increasing delivery performances and reducing the GBE working capital.
Other responsibilities may include the following: • Lead the SIOP (Sales Inventory Operational Planning) process excellence for the GBE • Actively participate in Malaysia DC project and CPS solution implementation from materials and SIOP /APO process view point. • Work with marketing team to effectively manage product life cycle, maximizing the growth opportunity and minimizing inventory obsolescence. • Partner with Customer Support and Marketing & Sales leaders to build effective demand planning process for ASEAN region and effectively implement the same. • Act as a strategic partner together with the ISC COE’s (Manufacturing, Logistics, Materials, Sourcing and Logistics) to link the GBE business Demand with the COE Supply to maximize material availability and delivery performance. • Facilitate Reconciliation and Executive Reviews to drive effective business decision making process. • Drive continuous improvement SIOP culture across the organization. • Partner with ACS SIOP/CT team to implement standard SIOP processes/practices within the organization. • Ensure Corporate and ACS standards are understood and followed in the GBE SIOP processes. • Train and coach all levels of organization on SIOP. • Improve the systems support tools to ensure world class SIOP process. • Enable achievement of HOS Gold, support HOS Gold initiatives and continuously improve process excellence. • Benchmark SIOP best practices with internal and external businesses to drive SIOP excellence • Direct Leader for the Demand Planning for Malaysia DC.

The following skills, knowledge and behaviors are required for this key business role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s degree in other disciplines. • A minimum of 10 years’ experience of which 5 years of managerial experience in Demand planning, sales operations, marketing, or integrated supply chain in a global, multi-site business environment. • Proven deployment, results and improvement of SIOP processes. • Proven SAP knowledge and hands on experience. • Strong analytical, interpretation, presentation skills and demand planning principles • Business and financial acumen • Strong communication and influencing skills on all levels of an organization • Fluent in English (spoken and written), additional languages a plus • Change Management skills.
