Description

  • AML mitigates money laundering and terrorist financing risks for Citi and its customers in the global marketplace. It uses skilled analysts, state-of-the-art technology and globally standard policies and procedures to ensure effective monitoring and reporting of suspicious activities

  • The role will be in the AML Program Management Office

  • Lead a team of PMs managing regulatory , strategic and productivity programs for AML in APAC and

  • Direct the scoping, resourcing, budgeting and organization of multiple programs and manage their alignment to business goals

  • Interface with partners and senior stakeholders in Compliance and Business to ensure that the end-to-end impacts of the changes being implemented as part of the programs are understood, resourced and prioritized

  • Direct execution of the programs and drive adherence to the AML Ops Program / Project Management methodology and all Citi policies and controls

  • Regularly review Project, program and portfolio level dependencies, risks and issues which might jeopardize successful execution of the programs and champion development of appropriate mitigation strategies

  • Drive timely, accurate and precise communication of status, issue, and risks to senior stakeholders at regional and global level

  • Interface with Internal Audit to facilitate reviews and validation of the Program deliverables

  • Interface with the regulators as and when required

  • Chair and run the APAC AML Project Board, a cross functional body composed of representatives from AML program, AML M&I, AML Technology and business that governs the AML projects in the region

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 10 years minimum experience in program management during which s/he applied a structured approach (methodology) to project management, planning, estimating, monitoring and reporting

  • 10 years minimum experience in successfully managing complex strategic projects through the project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support, or equivalent with major consultancy firm in project management function

  • 3 years minimum experience in managing people

  • 3 year minimum experience in communication and change management

  • Preferred experience in Financial Industry or consulting especially in the program management space in the AML or shared services areas.

  • Project Management qualification e.g. PMI or Prince2 is desirable, but not-essential
