Manage an Operations Team in ensuring there is effective and relevant definitions, analysis, and reporting of Key Performance Metrics for the purpose of enabling the AML Monitoring and Investigation Management Team and Stakeholders to:
Highlight and escalate for Decision and Action where there is a need to prevent or correct variances to Standards, Plans or Targets.
Resource and Plan to mitigate any risks to SLA or action necessary changes when there is material changes in the workload or processes
Evaluate and assess Impact of AML Program changes through analysis of the metrics to realise Opportunities and Mitigate Risks
Supervision and Escalation:
Ensure accurate and prompt communication for Management oversight and governance of Key Performance Metrics
Resource and Manage, and Supervise the Metrics Team in planning, defining, designing, developing and publishing key performance metrics to Stakeholders.
Manage the analysis and reporting of metrics across the various FIU locations and across all functions in Regional M&I for monthly operating review by the Regional Management Team of Key Performance Metrics, Key Risks Indicators and Projects progress and Continuous improvement initiatives statuses.
Manage the Implementation of any Metrics related changes by ensuring follow through with relevant parties such as Production Support and Technology and Global Metrics for timely deliverables and prompt resolution of any issue/discrepancy in data accuracy and quality.
Global Consistency and Best Practices:
Work with Global Metrics and other Regional Metrics Managers to ensure Reporting standards are implemented end-to-end across all FIU locations and all critical processes are measured for operational effectiveness
Pursues relevant and timely improvement opportunities with M&I functions Heads to ensure control measures are relevant and compliance with Regulatory expectations of the Businesses supported
Drive improvements within the Global Metrics community to assess and evaluate impact of projects and other changes on standardised Metrics definitions.
Maximise operation efficiency through coaching and performance management of the Metrics Team and seek cross functional development opportunities for Self and Team within the Regional Business Office and M&I to build on competencies
Build a Team culture of which strives for integrity and demonstration of leadership behaviours at all levels by setting appropriate expectations within the Metrics Team
Operational Risk Management:
Maintain an Internal control mechanism which includes Quarterly review of the design and development processes within the Metrics Team and ensure appropriate documentation, analysis and approvals
Monitor process control within own Team as well as any downstream or upstream related reporting process
Manage for adherence to the Metrics Reporting Governance Framework to ensure Global consistency in determining, investigating and resolving operation performance risk
Ensure escalation of any issues identified during the day-to-day workings the Team and follow through for resolution of issues
- Minimum 8 years working experience in a Financial Institution is preferred and 2 years in a Managerial capacity
Qualifications / Skills:
Degree Holder, preferably in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
Excellent Communication and Analytical ability with sound conceptual understanding of process controls and change management principles
