Description

Relationship Manager role to manage merchant partnerships to drive card sales.

  • Solicit new offers and deals from existing merchant partners to grow cards issuing and acquiring sales from the managed categories

  • Acquire relevant new merchants within the established criteria and target mark

  • Identify and expand new business segments and opportunities with existing merchants and monitor performance for exceptions

  • Proactive management of a portfolio of key accounts, ensures frequent contacts with major clients in the merchant and corporate sectors. Maintains appropriate personal contacts so as to improve profitability and maintain close liaison with Sales Support and Operations to continuously enhance merchant relationship by providing outstanding service deliveries

  • Develop and execute effective and superior marketing plans for credit cards with merchants in line with the overall marketing objectives and strategies

  • Monitor and analyze performance of all marketing programs to ensure results are on track and if not, to identify the issues and recommend solutions to rectify them

  • Monitor and control the advertising and promotion funds allocated to the programs

  • Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience in managing client relationships and business growth

  • 3 to 5 years experience in product management
