ResMed Business Support Specialist in Malaysia

We are currently seeking applications from Business Support Specialist to join our proactive and passionate team.

Reporting directly into our Regulatory Affairs Manager APAC and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malyasia . you will be an efficient and timely communications of issues and responsiveness to changes are critical to the success of this function as is skill and accuracy in all documentation . As a driven professional your primary objective be working across ResMed and partnering with our suppliers to continuously improve performance. All these activities are aimed at protecting and boosting ResMed’s ability to meet and exceed its Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.

You will have the ability to not only work autonomously but deliver results to the wider ResMed community in a way that secures confidence from the management team. Being focused, proactive and motivated to go above and beyond will ensure your success in the role and in ResMed.

You will also take on the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth operation of our business in relation to sales operations, price administration, etc.

  • Ensure customer (internal and external) needs & queries are actioned in a timely manner.

  • React as required to picklists generated centrally for shipment into GMA region. Liaise with other departments and external parties to meet deadlines.

  • Create internal requisitions, import internal orders and look after all Oracle data relating to shipments.

  • Ensure terms of trade, sale and pricing are adhered to for shipping and invoicing.

  • Responsible in ensuring pricing variation to orders and approvals are documented in line with our company policies and procedures.

  • Preparation and legalisation with various government departments and embassies for export documentation to accompany international shipments.

  • Regularly review and implement documentary changes for customers, customs, government, regulatory and IATA.

  • Constantly review and improve business processes to optimize business flow.

    Position Specific Skills and Challenges

  • Proven track record in customer service /sales and shipping via all modes of transport, preferably working in cross-border trade with experience in Asia

  • Good understanding of export/import procedures, regulations and practices

  • Strong communications skills

  • Strong analytical skills to quickly read data presented from either Oracle or Excel spreadsheets, and make judgement decisions based on this – changes to production lead-times, order dates, quantities, inventory picking and shipping errors etc

  • Proficient in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malay

    Liaising across wide time zone differences.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Degree / Diploma in Business or International Trade or similar or relevant industry experience

  • A good knowledge of ISO9001 or ISO13485 – experience in a regulated environment

    To really get us excited you will have knowledge and experience in freight forwarding via all modes of transport and Knowledge of International trading terms and export / import practices and regulations, also you have proficiency in use of Microsoft applications
