  • Provide support for proprietary application software and monitors progress of requests

  • Negotiates with users, specialists, staff and suppliers in respect of emergencies, routine and unscheduled maintenance and the introduction of amendments to the provision of services

  • Reviews effectiveness and efficiency in assigned area of responsibility and takes action to improve quality of service, performance and availability

  • Provides expert advice, training and technical assistance to other teams

  • Handles new systems development, system enhancements and application support
