|1. Content Development and Management

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall practice area(s), focusing on Practical Guidance modules but with input to other parts of the business. This includes: ? Apply practice area knowledge and customer insights to deliver content to ensure currency, relevance and accessibility of products ? Awareness of developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law and trends within practice area ? Deep understanding of all products within practice area including target market, authors, positioning, structure and development needs ? Support development and communication of value proposition of all titles within portfolio ? Support new content development proposals and implementation of new content and new titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions.

? Completion of Practice Area Review

? Creation and implementation of operational content plan for Practice Area modules

? Providing Practice Area development advice and news to internal and external stakeholders (sales, marketing, editorial, authors)

? Articulation and communication of key value propositions and unique selling points to sales and marketing High 40% 2. Managing team including content developers, in-house writers and senior editor ? Ensure content developers and editors are aligned to deliver key product development objectives ? Ensure commercial release according to plan ? Ensure appropriate level of editorial productivity, manage risks in under-resourcing and flag over-resourcing peaks and troughs

? Product release timelines are met ? Product meets market needs through continuous content enhancement and by translating customer feedback into concrete action plans ? Regular tracking reports and forecasts that gives early advance notice of sub-optimal resourcing

  1. Key Relationship Management

Close management of all authors, provider, alliances and partnerships within portfolio, including: ? Author commissioning/Decommissioning ? Contract negotiations and queries ? Content development/restructure ? Performance management ? General author queries ? Succession planning ? Completion of Practice Area Reviews ? Completion of competitor index ? Complete competitor comparison highlighting differentiating features between LN and competitor titles

Build effective working relationships with editorial teams (both local and off-shore (KL)) which includes: ? Communication on service progress ? Feedback on currency reporting, legislation tracking and content format.

Build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and Managers. ? Able to integrate cross-function and customer goals to achieve common objections

Build strong relationships with clients/customers, stakeholders and other users to ensure customer insights and feedback drive product development ? Awareness of key clients/customers ? Attendance at client meetings, seminars and sales visits

Engagement with sales and marketing to support product sales and client management and ensuring sales and marketing are fully briefed in relation to the key value proposition of products and related market opportunities. ? Delivery of product playbooks, competitor index and cheatsheets ? Providing Sales and Customer Service with product training, certification and demonstrations ? Attending customer visits with sales C.
