Basic Qualifications:2+ years experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or Call Center environmentScope of Responsibilities/Expectations:- Quickly respond to, analyze, and identify possible resolutions for customer’s system issues - Collect, summarize, and chronologically document technical information - Effectively manage system events using tools including Netcool and Clarify - Respond to customer phone inquiries as needed - Being able to understand and follow detailed Customer Handling Procedures (CHP) - Exercise multi-tasking by managing multiple applications / systems during customer interaction - Tactfully / courteously interface with work partners in order to build strong business relationshipsSpecific Knowledge/Skills:- Two+ years experience working in a NOC or Call Center environment - IT experience in troubleshooting and analyzing of errors and alarms.- Cisco Certificates preferred- Understanding of IT Network diagrams and what routers AP’s and switches do in networks. - Maintain flexibility to help support a 24/7/365 operation. - Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently, effectively leveraging provided tools. - Excellent verbal and written communications. Must type at least 30 words per minute - Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel (Internal and External) - Excellent time management skills are required - Must work well in a team environment.
