Family Description:

Performs and evaluates work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. Develops plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Has the ability to identify areas for improvement to optimize machine/man utilization and fab capacity.

  • Has the ability to do workplace layout considering the material flow and impact on the overall plant layout.

  • Provide the best layout option for production process flow and ensure the layout is updated.

  • Perform time study on man and machine and define optimum resources for production.

  • Co-work with different departments for all the UPH/OEE improvement projects.

  • Prepare regular OEE report and chair weekly OEE improvement meeting

  • Train IE Technicians on time study methodology and OEE analysis.

  • Responsible for establishing/maintaining production tool capacity models. Impact and Results Focus:

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 0-3 years in industrial or manufacturing field.
