The Tiffany & Co. Sales Supervisors hold the critical position of embodying the Tiffany brand in each and every customer interaction. The Sales Supervisors is an excellent communicator and positive brand ambassador. His or her passion for Tiffany is conveyed in every conversation and an entrepreneurial spirit is a prevalent trait. The Sales Supervisor is a dynamic, attentive and inspiring member of the store management team who demonstrates strong team building and interpersonal skills to consistently focus on enhancing the luxury customer experience and supports team members to do the same. Through supporting the store management, demonstration of the Tiffany Touch, supporting Sales Professionals to manage and develop their client base, achieve sales goals and deliver consistently high levels of customer service. As well as daily team supervision and relationship building, the Sales Supervisor will support the store management team with systems and operations, develop strategies to ensure targets are met, and act as a role model and brand ambassador.

Achieve or exceed store sales plan:

  • Consistent year-over a year sales plan achievement and exceed sales plan.

  • Significantly contribute to store location's overall sales plan.

  • Manage the day-to-day activities on the sales floor. Maintain presence on the sales floor to supervise staff, manage the flow and ensure adequate staff coverage.

  • Partner with Sales Professionals to meet their individual action plans to increase contact and sales opportunities, sales growth and conversion rates.

  • Maintain appropriate business controls (i.e. Internal Audit compliance, policies and procedures, etc)

Ensure High level of Customer Service and assist with Client Development Activities:

  • Ensure that staff have and demonstrate the skills necessary to manage all customer interactions resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Utilize and promote Engage as the tool to manage client development activities and ensure sales professionals capture and maintain important client information.

  • Partner with management regarding client development needs, quarterly outreach plans and implementing retail initiatives.

  • Resolve customer service issues and complaints within the Delegation of Authority.

  • Monitor inventory level to ensure customer satisfaction

Develop and Coach staff:

  • Provide direction to direct reports through regularly scheduled meetings to discuss sales achievement feedback, how to maintain high customer service standards and any developmental needs.

  • Provide formal and informal feedback on a timely basis to staff.

  • Monitor and coach sales professionals on Engage productivity and usage.

The ideal candidate will have sound sales experience in retail or relevant customer related experience (i.e., hospitality). Experience in sales generation and managing the achievement of sales results. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Point of Sales (POS) system. The ability to inspire trust, integrity, fairness and professionalism both with clients and staff members. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

A college or university degree and previous gemmological experience is preferred.
