About the Opportunity
Contribute to delivery of best in class tax internal and external reporting underpinned by a strong internal control environment.
Conforming with the our Organisational Charter, Corporate Requirements, Codes of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
Ensure compliance and commitment to our Organisational Tax Principles and tax obligations.
An overriding commitment to health, safety and environment responsibility and to sustainable development
Ensure alignment with and compliance to Group Tax function standards & processes relevant to the area of responsibility
Financial analysis and review, with a focus on current and deferred taxes and tax payments
Participate in the preparation and delivery of global tax statutory, internal and transparency reports to Group Reporting, FRMC & RAC
Gather, review, analyse and present data and information from different divisions supporting financial tax reporting and disclosures
Meet ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from the Head of Global Tax, CFO and other senior management
Provide input to the yearly Portfolio Validation Review
Contribute to global budget preparation and reporting process
Assist with development and maintenance of global standards and policies for internal reporting, budgeting and benchmarking
Continuous disclosure and process improvement
Work to drive standardisation, continuous improvement, collaboration and innovative thinking within the Reporting team and more broadly across Risk & Reporting

Required experience / remit:
5+ years’ experience in accounting and reporting, with tax accounting experience desirable
2+ years’ practical experience with compliance and governance processes within a highly complex multinational business
Experience with process development, implementation and improvement activities within a finance function
Audit experience with Big 4 audit firms preferred but not essential
Working knowledge and experience using SAP platform
High level MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Tertiary level qualification in finance or related field
Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA)
Fluent English, both verbal and written
