We are looking for two
Sales Managers, APAC
to join our Industrial Measurements Sales organization.
Your primary responsibility in this role is to develop our channel partner network for our online condition monitoring instruments for power transformers and/or promoting our broad industrial measurement offering through distributors in the APAC region (excluding China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand). You will personally drive profitable sales growth by executing sales actions. You will report to the Vice President, Industrial Measurements APAC. These positions are located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Your key responsibilities include :
I this role you will be responsible for:
Monitoring the performance of existing distributors, sales and marketing campaigns etc
Developing distributors and securing their Vaisala specific knowledge stays up to date
Supporting distributors in sales cases
Analyzing new markets and screening new distributor candidates
Organizing distributor sales meetings and trainings
Working with and managing our partners to achieve sales targets
Creating sales proposals and quotations
Communicating market requirements back to product management teams
Defining and agreeing on marketing actions with marketing and business management.
Developing sales tools for distributor channel
Leading and developing our distributor sales team
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking for a candidate with the following qualifications :
B.Sc. or M.Sc. (or equivalent) in technical or commercial discipline
Experience in international sales and channel management
Leadership and general management skills
Willingness to travel (40% to 60%)
Negotiation and influencing skills
Fluent English (other South East Asia languages are an asset)
You are result oriented and have practical sales experience and skills. You are able to work with people from different cultures and you are an energetic team player. You are also a forward-looking strategic thinker with focus on the customers.
