Job Description Summary
Report direct to Key Account Leader to understand retail channel market size and business potential, patients buying behavior, channel management process to ensure the sales target achievement of all retail pharmacy, Based in KL, covering KL, Northern region, Terengganu and Kota Bharu.
Assist Key Account Leader to understand retail channel market size and business potential, patients buying behavior, channel management process to ensure the achievement of chain retail pharmacy and key account retail pharmacy.
To promote BD DC range of products to healthcare professionals in assigned territory.
Develop strong business ties with key executives/officers of chain retail pharmacy and key account retail pharmacy to establish partnership and achieve mutual business success.
Develop diabetes education / training modules for retail pharmacists to support business development.
Provide customer interface for all product complaints via the company’s established PIR system. Ensure all complaints are reported and investigation results are communicated to distributors/customers.
Proactively manage and build customer relationship with CCM distributor partnership.
Responsible for achieving individual/monthly sales target & CME also execute key promotional plans with key account retail pharmacy.
Keep up to date with competitive market activities through maintaining a competitor database and providing market intelligence and strategy recommendation to business leader.
Identify opportunities and develop a robust business plan to accelerate business growth in the retail channels. Be aware of potential setbacks and develop contingencies to overcome them.
Manage overall retail expenditures (merchandising program, display space rentals, product display collaterals and retail promotion program) to ensure solid return on investments and long term business sustainability.
Conduct periodic meeting with clinical specialist and outsourced distributor team, present periodic status update of key retail pharmacy activities to the Key Account Leader including issues and opportunities and provide solutions in the face of challenges eg. Competitor’s acivities.
Visit and monitor chain retail pharmacy and key account retail pharmacy activities and programs are well-executed.
Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
