Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara- will mark the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont’ Kiara, an affluent suburb located five kilometers from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and a sky pool. Scheduled to open in late 2017, the hotel will be part of a larger mixed use development, Arcoris Mont’ Kiara, which will feature business suites, small home offices (“SoHo”), residential units, and a retail plaza.

We are currently looking for an experienced" Lead Host- Assistant Accounts Manager",to contribute to the finance and accounts team in order to ensure that efficiency, accuracy and timeliness and commercial success is achieved, while maintaining Hyatt Hotel's high standards of Financial Management.
This position reports to the Hotel Manager- Finance and Administration
You are known for your ability to communicate at all levels, a positive "can-do" attitude, are detail orientated and you are able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands on and ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.

Hotel finance experience with hotel properties or serviced residences that have over 230 rooms will be preferred due to the complexity of the financial management process.
Previous hotel pre-opening experience in finance and accounting matters, will be a significant added advantage
Possess a Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
A minimum of 4 years or more work experience in a role within an international chain hotel finance department
Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Past experience in managing associates is an advantage.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to converse in other languages will be an added advantage
Good hotel industry track record in areas of Income and cost audit, Accounts Payable, General Cashier, Licensing and Registration, Accounts Receivable, General ledger and Credit Management.
Proven track record in working with international accounting systems
