Finance Business Partner (Marketing)
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Finance Business Partner (FBP) will be assigned to high value opportunities and interventions by the senior FBP.
Drive increased value for the business through specific value projects/interventions.
Share lessons learnt and standard intervention tools with the FBP community.
Deliver end-to-end value interventions rather than working solely within an operating unit.
Periodically, Senior FBPs would review projects in process and upcoming challenges and issue a work plan for FBP resourcing. Finance Business Partners would then be allocated as appropriate and could be performing, but not limited to, some of the activities below:
Custodian of the categories P&L.
Working as part of a team on cross-functional performance interventions.
Drive development of all Innovation Business Cases.
Embed the rigour, discipline and continuous improvement around post launch evaluation in partnership with marketing team.
Business Model development and development of external insights into customers and competitors.
Strategic planning and alignment between Customer and Category.
Building and sharing best practices and learnings.
Understand and implement Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) recommendations for BMI.
Working with Marketing on: Media, re-defining market context, long-term strategy vs. white space, competitor war gaming, COTC etc.
Participate in key business meeting (e.g. CCBT meeting and etc.) and provide financial support/advise in cross functional projects (e.g. NRM, COTC, LCBM, Local sourcing, IOP process and etc.).
Assist Senior FBP in develop corrective action to close gaps to targets.

Qualified accountant or equivalent (or studying towards a professional accounting qualification)
Experience with the identification of risks & opportunities in the P&L.
Experience in driving P&L performance improvements (e.g. closing gaps vs. target) and holding others accountable (particularly peers and senior leadership).
Significant experience managing a large and complex set of stakeholders.
Experience in presenting to and communicating with senior Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
