Job Summary:

You will be part of the Trade Operations Project Management office at Citigroup Transaction Services (M) Sdn Bhd, Penang as a team lead to support team manager in driving Trade Projects (Change Delivery).

Job Description:

  • Day to day management of the Asia Ops Project administration as part of the Trade Ops Project team

  • Participate in BRD, MPD & FRD documentation review for Trade Projects and handhold review process with ASIA Ops partners jointly, effectively collect & convey ASIA Ops review comments with Technology Business Analyst and get updated BRD / FRD shared with Ops for final Signoff & UAt test planning

  • Participate in Global Release planning meetings to represent ASIA Operations for Trade applications

  • Prepare Project Implementation Plan and work with Ops Managers & technology support teams to complete successful implementation after roll out in production

  • Tracking and providing details of all projects in-hand in various stages in a presentable deck to Senior management

  • Understand the business requirement, interpret with technology team for solution, guide operation in test case preparation and follow up throughout the project implementation life cycle for faster delivery

  • Work with country Operations teams to meet project deadline and deliverables

  • Work with regional Operations and technology teams in case of any critical production issue and track till closure

  • Work with country & regional Operations teams to identify efficiency improvement area, explore technology solutions and implement the fix with close tracking with Support Team

  • Ensure consistency of operational processes and implementation throughout all countries within the region

  • Possess sound knowledge of the Trade Finance, Trade Services & Supply Finance business and having exposure in Project delivery or UAT testing is a plus

  • Exposure to Project management and Project Implementation is a plus

Qualifications

Job Skills/Qualification:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in Trade Operations / Trade Change delivery / Channels & Readiness / trade technology with at least 3-4 years in Trade domain

  • A recognized degree qualification in Banking, Business Administration, Business management, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Management

  • Highly detailed planning, organization and process management experience and solid execution capability

  • Strong performance record, indicating a self-starter who solves issues as they arise

  • Analytical and organizational skills that can be demonstrated with good communication skills both oral and written

  • Quick learner, comfortable with and able to manage in complex systems environment and associated development process

  • Flexible and have a strong sense of urgency

  • Multi-tasking, team player and strong proven problem solving skills

  • Must be able to adapt to change in a fast paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills (as relates to stakeholder management, workflow coordination and work with other Citi businesses)

  • Good exposure in MS Office as need to do data analysis and presentation

  • Experience in Project Management / Project Handling / Trade Application Test Lead / SDLC process awareness will be preferred

  • Knowledge on trade business, trade processing and trade product processing application will be preferred
