Dell Sr Analyst, IT Sys Development in CYBERJAYA, Malaysia
Dell is looking for an energetic fast learning candidate that has strong team leadership skills, able to work well with groups on a global level, and problem solving abilities to enable our business partners to operate more effectively. These candidates will be responsible for administering and troubleshooting large enterprise-scale end to end client, Messaging (Microsoft Exchange & SMTP Ironport), fax solution (Omtool Genifax) & Citrix solutions. The person will work in a team responsible for the research, daily maintenance, infrastructure support, consultation and performance tuning of client & technologies supported by the team.
Prior experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013 server
Support Ironport SMTP gateway and email encryption
Support Fax Server Environment
Experienced in supporting Wintel Technology - Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
Experienced in supporting Domain, Organizational Units (OU), Microsoft Management Console (MMC), Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC), Access Control Lists (ACL - DACL/SACL), Security ID (SID), Permissions (Explicit/Inheritance), Logging, Auditing, Reporting and Monitoring (Security Events).
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Group Policy Preferences (GPP).
Experience in troubleshooting Group Policies Objects (GPO) in an AD environment.
Experienced in Thin Client would be an advantage.
Experienced on hardware and O/S troubleshooting.
Experiencing using ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
.net framework, AD User administration, patch, IIS log files, Performance Monitors and System Services management
Scripting experience with Visual Basic Script (VBS) and Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI). PowerShell scripting a plus.
Document problems, platform standards and the corrective procedures, interact with other technology groups to identify and correct problems where necessary.
Performs maintenance on existing operating systems and hardware
Resource for system escalation issues
Participate in the weekly meeting, where a cross-cutting team collaborates within regions to update your group policy changes.
Investigates and resolves system problems and system performance
Work independently and as a team member on projects with many challenges.
Weekend on-call support
Experience on shift planning and resource arrangement would be an added advantage
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information System or equivalent knowledge
Recommended but not mandatory to possess 4-8 years of professional experience (at least 2-4 years directly related to Messaging) or functional area or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated proactive and solution-oriented problem solving skills and desire to be responsive to needs.
Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers
Self-motivated & strong team player with ability to work in a team and as individual contributor
Excellent time management skills, strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively present new ideas/concepts.
Fast learner, flexible and able to work on multiple task.
