Organizational Responsibilities :
Incident Management - Owns support for Infrastructure within Dell Technology, that cover Backup, Storage, Server, Network and Telecom.
Communication with Business Partners - provide periodic executive updates on Infrastructure health and KPIs.
Infrastructure/Environment Problem Management - Containment, root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action on issues encountered
Monitor infrastructure health/performance and drive for continuous improvement
Focus on standardization and drive for automation Asset Management data stewardship for Infrastructure supported.
Job Responsibilities :
Lead a team of 10-20 IT professionals to provide 7x24 hours applications support
Able to work shift hours to support manufacturing/non-manufacturing functions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all IT disciplines, external vendors and many business segments at all staff and management levels
Lead staff to identify recurring/high impact application and environment problems and drive for permanent solutions
Drive continuous improvements to the requirements for infrastructure health/supportability and influence delivery from the responsible teams
Report various metrics and infrastructure health status to IT and Business Senior Management
Envision, develop and implement creative processes and tools to scale org capacity in support of global business growth
Team with managers across the organization to standardize and continuously improve organization performance
Represent organization through participation in significant initiatives such as ITIL, Knowledge Base, etc.
Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience in IT.
Preferably with 2-3 years people management experience.
IT Infrastructure Support or IT Operations.
Ability to motivate and manage a team and to create a working environment that results in successful services delivery and customer satisfaction.
Excellent experience in incident management and service delivery with track record of delivering good results.
Experience working with global counter parts/customers will be an added advantage.
