Role Responsibilities

• Ability to work with cross functional team globally

• Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.

• In-depth diciplinary knowledge to provide appropriate solutions or escalation to the next level support

• Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.

• Investigate SAN / NAS and Backup issues and provides resolution on complex organization infrastructure

• Contributes to area by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others.

• Extends capabilities by working closely with senior staff/experts within and outside the internal organization.

• May provide technical guidance or influence the work of others.

• Mentors more junior team members.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of related SAN, NAS and Backup Recovery in a large enterprise environment

• Ability to act independently with low supervision

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written • Good Experience in any dicipline EMC or Dell SAN and NAS products (VNX, Clarion, Unisphere, DataDomain, Compellent, Equallogic)

• Good Experience in any dicipline Backup Recovery product (DataDomain, DR6000, Quantum, Networker)

• Good Knowledge and understanding of Brocade switch or other related FC switch and SAN fabric technolgies Desired Skills Other server side technologies such as, Windows, Linux, Virtualization Technologies (e.g. VMWare) or Terminal Services/Citrix will be an added advantage.
