Key Responsibilities *
Dell is looking for an experienced Planning and Sales Operations Planner to join our team; the position is based in/Malaysia or India supporting APJ./
This candidate will develop, manage and drive the Global Support & Deployment (GSD) Services business management system (BMS) and planning process. KPIs include Services revenue, margin, and Penetration Rate & growth in/APJ./The individual will be responsible for the development of a robust and scalable Services framework that supports performance metrics for daily operational management and strategic analytical insights.
The candidate will also be engaging in and managing a number of strategic projects and initiatives aligned to the overall objectives of the organization. He or she will be responsible for Training, Winning Culture including awards & recognition, effective workforce, SPIFFs and compensation.
The role reports to the APJ Sales Operations & Planning Senior Manager and will also work very closely with the Services Sales Director for APJ Deployment.
Key areas of ownership:
• Services Business Management System (BMS) cadence calendar & structure.
• Best of Breed Services Analysis / Tracking & Implementation.
• Business results forecasting accuracy & predictability.
· Global Tools and country implementations.
• Strategic insights to support tactical business recovery planning.
• Quarterly, Annual, 3yr Business Plans cadence calendar and structure.
• Segment, LOB, Product target setting.
• SPIFF/Contests programs, compensation effectiveness, and sales agent effectiveness.
• Strategic insights to support business innovation & mid/long-term planning.
• Quarterly executive level operation reviews co-ordination and guidance.
• Driving Strategic Projects to support key growth initiatives, including supporting .PLM’s in product initiatives.
- Graduate with 7-10 years of experience in Sales, Sales Support or Marketing.
- Data Driven.
- Skilled in :Excel; PowerPoint; Dell & EMC Data/ Data sources.
