The remit of the Global Business Operation of OEM (OEM GBO) organization is to drive high performance sales execution, winning culture and efficiency. Overall success will be measured through business growth in excess of the market and improving profitability. Underlying these goals, the GBO team will take a lead in developing and driving performance against the Integrated Operating Plan (IOP), coordinating both global and regional sales enablement programs and managing the Run the Business (RTB) process for APJ.

Profile and Experience

The Sales Support will have extensive experience supporting a front line sales organization within the technology industry. Key experience to include:

  • Ability to review, analyze and interrupt disparate data sets to understand business trends / issues and present resolutions aligned with key stakeholders.

  • An understanding of an OEM sales model and building out an optimized plan based on maximizing customer coverage with available resources.

  • Able to plan, manage and track the progress and drive towards the target end state.

  • Must have the ability to build relationships across the organization, within Sales / Finance / Marketing / Human Resources to successfully deliver against the above profile.

Key Accountabilities

  • Run the Business Support

  • Daily support on sales request regarding account creation, GDM request and data inquiries

  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly review and analysis of sales performance, understanding key financial and business metrics, provide data insights.

  • Review and development of predictive metrics to support business predictability and growth;

  • Support & contribute to weekly BMS reviews, Sales KPI scorecards;

  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

  • Ad hoc projects supporting business goals


  • Work experience of 5-7 years within Sales Ops/ Finance / Strategy / Sales Planning / Business Intelligence.

  • Understanding of the IT market;

  • Excellent analytical and sales ops project management and financial skills required, including financial modeling and data manipulation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point required.

  • Project management and facilitation skills a bonus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or related discipline required. MBA desirable.
