Dell eBusiness Consultant in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia
Based in Penang, Malaysia, the**eBusiness Consultant will be responsible for the engagement of customers to Dell’s Commercial Online environment, by scoping and deploying the appropriate Online solution (Premier, Global Portal, PremierConnect).
Commercial Online and B2B solutions are offered across all business verticals in the Dell ANZ Business Unit and are a key component to our online strategy in the relationship business. Focused on Global Portal directly and through B2B integrations, theeBusinessConsultantwill hold the responsibility to deliver an integrated eCommerce shopping and buying experience with Dell.
Reporting within Dell CoC Commercial Online, the successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the primary interface between sales and other operational functions developing sales processes and procedures relating to online order administration, order fulfillment and communication. They will evaluate and implement improvements to online sales and marketing programs and processes including: anticipating demands, account management leads, planning and prioritization, closing strategies, pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, tools and reporting programs.
The ideal candidate ecommerce experience ideally within the relationship business with extensive experience working directly with customers. The candidate must be adept at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while working with various support organizations, including Sales, Product Management, Help Desk, IT, Ops, and Finance, to deploy these solutions.
Exceptional knowledge of Global Portal, OST, Gii and all related and integrated Dell back-end systems
Strong customer and business-facing communication skills are required, along problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with customers and business partners to deploy Dell’s GTM strategy through the use of Commercial Online tools
Strong analytical skills providing insight into current capabilities as well as envisioning future state functionality requirements
Responsible for driving incremental Online revenue and transactions through multiple sales segments
Experience with eCommerce ERP integrations – Electronic shopping/buying capabilities
Analyze customer needs to determine the appropriate e-business solution.
Develop plans and schedules based on prioritization including requirements, tasks, review points and reporting
Serve as liaison between the customer and Dell’s IT team and other core business partners for e-business solutions
Deliver and maintain a superior online customer experience.
Measure and manage activities against key KPI’s. Deliver programs to meet core financial goals
Technical project management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of eBusiness technologies, process definition, and escalation management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least six years of professional experience in a related field
